Before going through the rest of the document, we recommend you read to better understand the identity system behind Voty.
Before importing your community, you will first need an identity, or a Main DID, to sustain your community. (check for why). You can register one .
After registering, you'll need to enable the SubDID minting function for your Main DID. SubDIDs are granted to your community members, they denote that one is truly the member of your community. If you haven't enabled this function, there will be an entry for you to enable in your community's main page.
Note: For now, enabling SubDID minting function would require 220 CKB. If you have trouble enabling it, please contact arvin@did.id.
You can do this later, after importing your community.
When Issuing membership, you will need to compile a sheet containing the following information: your member's desired name, your member's wallet address, membership validity duration you wish to grant. An example for this would be arvin, 0xabc, 1, which means giving 0xabc the membership named arvin for 1 year.
